Bunnies are natural foragers. They’re naturally driven to search, sniff, reach and move to find food rather than simply eat from a bowl. Mrs. PetalPlay brings elements of that experience into the home, turning everyday pellet and treat time into an opportunity to move, think and forage.
Your bunny spins the flower to gradually release pellets, forage, dry herbs or small treats into the snuffle mat below, then uses their nose, paws and problem-solving skills to search for each piece. This interactive process encourages natural foraging behaviours, movement and mental stimulation while helping slow down feeding.
The adjustable dispensing design let you tailor the experience to different foods and difficulty levels, keeping enrichment interesting as your bunny learns.

Why We Designed It
Mrs. PetalPlay was created because we were tired of watching our bunnies gulp down their pellets and treats in seconds. We wanted a more natural, enriching way to feed them that encourages slower eating and turns every meal into an activity instead of something that's over in moments.
We were also frustrated by how few enrichment toys are designed specifically for rabbits. Too often, bunny families are left adapting products made for dogs or cats, even though rabbits play, forage and interact with their environment in completely different ways.
So we designed a toy made just for rabbits. One that encourages spinning, seeking, sniffing and snuffling while keeping curious minds and busy noses engaged throughout the day. Unlike a bowl or an automatic feeder that simply dispenses food, Mrs. PetalPlay lets your bunny search for and find each reward, turning feeding time into an interactive experience inspired by their natural instincts.
One of our favorite parts isn't just the enrichment for rabbits, it's the joy it brings to bunny parents. How to Use
*A detailed set-up and user guide is included with each order.*- Place the snuffle mat on a flat, stable surface.
- Add a small amount of pellets or appropriately sized dry treats to the treat compartment.
- Show your bunny that moving or spinning the flower releases food into the snuffle mat below.
- Allow your bunny to sniff the flower and search through the mat to find the dispensed pieces.
Some bunnies understand the toy immediately, while others may need
more time to learn how it works.
Care Instructions
Remove all pellets, treats, forage and debris before cleaning.
Hand wash the hard components with lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reuse.
Do not place the hard components in the dishwasher or expose them to boiling water, high heat or prolonged direct sunlight.
We recommend washing the snuffle mat before first use. The snuffle mat may be machine washed cold using a gentle cycle. Allow it to dry completely before reassembling the toy.

- Supervise your bunny initially to ensure the product is used as intended.
- Regularly inspect all components and the snuffle mat for excessive chewing, cracks, tears or other damage.
- Discontinue use and replace if the product becomes damaged.

Yes. Your bunny’s measured daily pellets can be used inside Mrs. PetalPlay to make mealtime more mentally and physically engaging.
Is it a slow feeder?
Yes. Mrs. PetalPlay is designed to help slow pellet and treat consumption because your bunny must spin the flower and then search through the snuffle mat to find the dispensed pieces.
Results may vary depending on your bunny’s individual eating style and how quickly they learn to use the toy.
How does the flower release the treats?
As your bunny rotates the flower around the centre stem, pellets or treats move through the dispensing area and fall into the snuffle mat below.
What if my bunny does not understand how to use it?
This is completely normal. Some bunnies learn immediately, while others may need several days or repeated supervised sessions.
Begin by placing visible pellets or treats on and in the flower. Gently demonstrate the spinning motion and allow your bunny to investigate and learn at their own pace.
How long does it usually take a bunny to learn?
Every bunny learns differently. Some may understand the toy immediately, while others may take 24 hours, several days or longer.
Learning at a slower pace does not mean your bunny is less intelligent.
Can bonded bunnies use it together?
Yes. Bonded bunnies may use Mrs. PetalPlay together. It is common for one bunny to do the spinning while the other bunnies forage in the snuffle mat.
Can I leave Mrs. PetalPlay out all the time?
Supervised use is recommended, particularly if your bunny is a heavy chewer. However, Mrs. PetalPlay can be left out if your bunny is using it as intended.
Can my bunny chew the toy?
Mrs. PetalPlay is designed as an enrichment toy, not a chew toy. Majority of bunnies have no interest in chewing it. However, every bunny is unique. Discontinue use if your bunny starts using any part of the product as a chew toy.
Will my bunny use Mrs. PetalPlay even when there’s nothing inside?
They might! Some bunnies will spin the flower even when it’s empty, which is especially cute to see (and hear!) when you’re not expecting it. Whether they’re checking for treats, enjoying the activity, or trying to tell you it’s time for a refill… we’ll let you decide!
Won't my bunny move or knock the toy over?
Mrs. PetalPlay is thoughtfully designed with a stable base that makes it difficult to tip or knock over. Some movement during play is completely normal as your bunny spins the flower.
Is the flower removable?
Yes. The flower is removable, making it easier to refill, clean and reassemble the toy.
What is the snuffle mat made from?
Our snuffle mat is made from soft fleece. Fleece is commonly used for rabbits because it is gentle, durable, and safer as it does not fray into long strings like many woven fabrics. If your bunny is chewing or ingesting the snuffle mat, remove it immediately.
Can I wash the snuffle mat?
Yes. The snuffle mat is removable and machine washable. Use a cold, gentle cycle and allow it to dry completely before reassembling the toy.
